The team have had a particularly busy and productive week, balancing proactive work against local priorities while continuing to meet significant incident demand across the area.  Officers have conducted high-visibility patrols in key hotspot locations to deter anti-social behaviour, engage with local businesses and residents, and provide reassurance to the community.  The team has continued to focus on tackling acquisitive crime, safeguarding vulnerable victims, and addressing concerns linked to repeat offenders, whilst working closely with partner agencies to problem-solve longer-term community issues.  The team's flexibility and commitment have ensured that neighbourhood priorities remain at the forefront whilst maintaining an effective response to emerging demand, demonstrating a strong commitment to keeping Weymouth & Portland safe and supporting those most at risk within our communities.
